Apple devices cannot access WSL website
I have a localhost website running on Windows 11 WLS2. The IP address for the local network is 192.168.1.254, and the website is 172.82.23.223.
I can reach the website from any device connected to the network with an ethernet connection. Still, when I try with any Apple device connected to the network via the Wi-Fi connection, I receive the error, This site can’t be reached.
I am using an Archer AX3000 router.
Solution Solved.

@gary1946 You might have to port forward the website's port to the host PC to reach it from Appe devices since the mDNS resolver might not be able to find the site on the NATed address in WSL. Why do the ethernet connections work and not the Wi-Fi connections?

@gary1946 because the Ethernet adapter on your Windows machine is bound to the NAT interface of WSL and ARP requests get dNATed and a response goes back to the client. From WiFi the Access Point is in between and eats the ARP request to the 172.x.x.x address thus no response for the IP over Wi-Fi. You should be able to reach the web site over the 192.x.x.x network though once the port forwarding is set up
