We have a home mesh network consisting of four Deco M9 Plus connected to a Starlink router.  Works fine!  We need to extend the range along the driveway about 800 feet.  What is the best product to add for this?  We don't have power along the driveway so range extender won't work.  I can run Ethernet cable to an outdoor mast if needed.

  @GC1,

At this distance, you will honestly have trouble getting a signal all the way out there using normal methods. Normally, we recommend finding a way to use Ethernet cabling, whether above or underground, to make the run, but Ethernet cables are not tested for use over 100m (~328ft). There are some methods of extending the connection through PoE repeaters, however this is less than idea / stable for everyday use.

Unfortunately, without any form of power on your driveway, this also limits the devices that you could use - since long-range devices such as CPEs require power to receive the signal. As a result, you would need to look towards business class CPEs that may have solar connectivity, or you would need to look to see if Power Over Ethernet can help in your situation.

Your best bet would likely be to use an Ethernet cable to send the signal as far as possible and then use an outdoor Access Point, or likely a Deco X50-outdoor to extend the wireless mesh as far as possible
