Model: Archer AX1500  
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.26

When i try to connect a device to my router it asks for password. When i put it in it doesn't work. So i have been going to my router web page and adding the mac address to get it to work. Why doesn't the password work? Am i doing something wrong ?

Same here and I enter the password that I'm told and it doesn't work

Adding the MAC address of the device to get connected to the Wi-Fi sounds like you have configured an Access Control Whitelist on your AX1500.

If you have Access Control enabled - disable it and test again.
