Archer AX11000 loses internet connection
I am seeing a lot of threads about the internet being dropped on the AX11000 which I had been experiencing for months as well. The longer it went the worse it seemed to be getting. On mine I found several things that were an issue
1. On the label at the bottom of the router it says the Hardware version is 1.6
2. On the update screen in the router OS it says the hardware version is 1.0
I turned off automatic updates and manually installed the latest 1.6 firmware off the support site. After completion my router is working as it should with no issues. The only issue is that the router OS still states that the hardware version is 1.0. My assumption is that the firmware will report 1.0 instead of 1.6 and the issue will come back again if auto updates are left on. My recommendation is to keep checking for updates and manually apply the 1.6 until the OS states the proper version. Hope this helps.
