Dear Support,

 

is possible to add features DOS, Traffic Monitor and QOS ? Like we can find on cheaper devices ?

For example QOS It is in manual, but I am missing it in my router settings.

DOS FW and Traffic monitor are presented on cheaper AC1200 MU-MIMO model.

 

Why it cannot be on AX3000 ?

Can you please add it ?

Are you sure that the router model is AX3000 ? Look at the bottom sticker - there you should see the exact router model and its HW version.

Your router model is AX53 (EU) HW v1 - here's the support page.

This model supports TP-LInk HomeShield which includes DDoS and QoS.

To be able to manage these features you have to install tether app on your mobile.

OK,

QOS is part of mobile application, very bad one.

Only a basic - on/off priority for clients. All. To manage you need to have cell + app.

 

DDos in app i did not find. Only some subscription security+ which you need to pay for ?

Basic security is only - firmware check + state of port forwarding (facepalm).

 

 

 

Is that right ?

Here's a HomeShield overview with its subscription options.

Pay attention that some of the features are planned for Q1 2024 and you have to wait for them to be implemented.

Not sure if the DDoS is in the paid services, but you have to use tether app to configure these:

  @terziyski I am quite disapointed, because it will be under paid subscription.

DDos is a basic functionality for 30 euro routers. Not something you need to pay for.

Or create platinum one time payment like 100 euros for enabling all the feauters for lifetime of router.

But why ? Why for god sake ?

Archer C6 has it all. 2.5 more time expensive AX53/55 dont have it ?

QOS, DDOS, ClientStatistics with graph.

Why TPLINK is doing this to customers ?

 

Or can you advise mi device which has it ? I don't want o pay monthly subscription. Another service with already 6 streaming services and multiple others.

Like Archer C6 V3.2 but only add WIFI6 standard.
