  @Zigwilly

There are two reasons that could cause LAN ports not working.

Bad cabling or bad ethernet ports. You already changed the router. This time try changing the cables.

  @terziyski I did. Hence the "tested all cables". Pretty sure TP Link sent me a refurbished unit that has the same problem.

The probability of two broken devices in a row is not very high.

What are the cables parameters/characteristics and how did you test them ?

  @terziyski didn't mean for that last reply to come off as rude. They are brand new factory cables. I tested them by using them between my modem and the router. And they work in that configuration, but not when utilizing them for anything plugged into the LAN ports.

The easiest test would be to use the ethernet cable from the router's kit.

Connect a computer to the router LAN port and you should know if its LAN port works or not.

This is the basic way for initial router configuration if you're not using its wireless radio.

  @Zigwilly You can connect already working WAN cable to a LAN port (leaving other cable end where it is) and check in router control panel like http://192.168.0.1 > Network Map > Your Router Name > scroll down, it should show all ethernet ports and what speeds they negotiated at. Don't use http://tplinkwifi.net/, it won't work without internet, go Back to IP address url if it redirects.

This way you can exclude fake knockoff cables and computer software setup.

If it shows the port negotiated at at least 1000Mbps Full Duplex, try your "factory" cable.

If the "factory" cable doesn't work, check computer ports or different cable.

If the "factory" cable works, check software setup on client computer, e.g. Windows networking.
