I have a 6 Deco set up. 3 are the Deco XE75 Pro with firmware 1.2.9 Build 20231225 Rel. 57498 and the new set I just bought are the Deco M4 V2 1.6.1 Build 20231227 Rel. 80438.

With the XE75 Pro's I am able to choose which unit I want to connect to, for example:

Office (Main) <- Master Bedroom <- Kitchen

or

Master Bedroom -> Office (Main) <-Kitchen

After adding the 3 new M4's they do not have that option to choose which unit they want to connect to and are all connecting to the Main. I still can choose which units to connect to with the XE75 Pro's

I would Like to be able to have my network set up in this fashion:
 

(M4) Kid 1 --> (XE75 Pro)Master Bedroom --> (XE75 Pro)Office(main) <-- (M4)Kid 2

(M4)Living Room ----------------^                                               ^-----------------(XE75 Pro)Kitchen
Currently Kid 1 and Living room have medium signal strength when they could be strong if routed like I would like to. If this is not possible, I will need to return the units.
