Model: Deco BE95
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.0.18

We have been having our connection terminate several times a day.  I've set up monitoring of external and internal sites and routers along the path to find the culprit.  However, I'm having trouble setting up a monitor for our Deco BE95.

I'd love to be able to check if the admin interface is working on port 80.  However, all requests for WGET and CURL fail to that port.

Is there another alive monitor that is provided on the BE95?

  @LukasBradley

Refer this FAQ regarding Deco WebGUI. However I believe that you won't be able to use WGET or CURL with this interface.

If this was helpful click once on the arrow pointing upward. If this solves your issue, click once the star to mark it as a "Recommended Solution".

  @LukasBradley I am having the same issue and setup a monitor on a wired PC to record when the network goes down.

In the BE95 reports area when connecting to it from a PC (the app is useless for diagnostics) I found no useful information in the reports either.

Did you find a solution?  I also noticed the device running really hot. I would assume if it eas a temperature issue there would be a record in the critical log, but there is no record.

  @DrJJC Unfortunately, no.  However, I did get a static IP for that installation, so I just touch the router one step outside of the Deco BE95 unit.  I assume if the external router is up, then the BE95 is up.  It's not a great solution, and hopefully TP Link creates something better.

  @LukasBradley Do you mean you can access it via a browser but not via curl?
