I need an indoor range extender for a "dead zone" about 20-25 meters from router. I bought  RE2000, however it did not solve the problem, because:

a) if it is connected within the recommended range from router it does not amplify the signal enough

b) if it is connected i dead zone area (20-25meters from router + obstacles like walls) it does not catch the signal from router

what model would you recommend ? Ar there any models that can be connected further from router or ones that would amplify the signal stronger to reach the dead zone ?

thank you

In general these are the rules that you have to follow when positioning your RE.

If that doesn't work for you and the distance between the router and RE is too long you may consider using the RE in AP mode.

If this was helpful click once on the arrow pointing upward. If this solves your issue, click once the star to mark it as a "Recommended Solution".
