Model: Deco X55
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version: 1.5.1 Build 20240417 Rel 52783

I have a Deco X55 (AX3000?) system with three (3) units.  It is connected to an ATT Fiber modem BGW320-500.  The modem is setup for passthrough.

I am daily getting "0 Online Clients" showing in my Deco app.   I have in the range of 55-60 Clients and while it shows 0, most are connected and working fine (with the exception of some WeMo switches...see below)

This did not start immediately with getting the Deco's...was fine for a few months.  After this started, I recently set it to auto reboot overnight (which frankly seems like a bad way to 'fix' things).  It may start out in the morning showing everything connected, but will go back to 0 pretty quick....sometimes while I'm looking at the app...they all go to 0 at the same time.

Running latest iOS app.  Deco firmware is updated to latest.

As a side note to above, I have many WeMo switches.  About the same time all this started, around 50% of the WeMo switches do not automatically reconnect to the network.  Maybe 1 out of 10 reboots they will, otherwise I need to reconnect them manually.   I have switched some out to Kasa switches, which are maintaining connection.

So looking for a solution to the "0 Online Clients".

Thanks

  @DTom Try this beta firmware --> https://community.tp-link.com/en/home/forum/topic/674472 .

For now this firmware seems to be working fine for me.

  @DTom I am seeing the exact same thing. Did you try contacting support? I spent over and hour with slow response support with no solution yet.

  @parikrama  Yes, I have a support Email going with them.  So far no resolution as the only suggestion so far is to uninstall/reinstall app (Didn't work).   I don't think it is app related.  I can log into my Deco's from my laptop (192.168.68.1)) and I see the same 0 clients connected.  Seems to be Firmware or Hardware issue.

(I did resolve the WeMo issue, which seemed to be related to some old smartswitches not playing well with a Mesh network.  I replaced.)

  @DTom Same happening to me, same firmware version and I can confirm this didn't happen on earlier firmware versions (can't say for sure if previous one had the issue or not but for sure this did not happen before then).

Setup: three X50s, all in mesh WiFi with one of them being the router and wired into modem.

  @parikrama

Interesting.  Thanks for sharing.

I've also been communicating directly with tech support.  The change they had me do yesterday was "Change LAN IP to 192.168.0.1 and subnet mask to 255.255.255.0".   So I'm 24 hrs out from that change and no problems, although sometimes it has been longer from a reboot for the problem to show up...so watching it.

Nice to see though it's being addressed in a Firmware update.  Apparently they know they have a problem.

  @parikrama

I've been running 1.5.5 20240718 Rel. 44414 for about a week now and this seems to have resolved the problem.
