BE63 Constant Issues
So I have a Deco BE63 and I'm having some issues. Latest firmware is on it and what's going on is a complete loss of connection. It's random it can happen at any time and I have checked everything and also had my ISP take a look to make sure it's not on there end. They came out and checked and everything is normal all speeds are normal all wiring is new they even replaced my Ethernet going from my ONT to the deco just to be on the safe side. Problem is still occurring. I also have tried running the BE63 in AP mode and while that stopped the Ethernet drop off there is also another bug where in AP mode I am only getting half my speeds on the download side. The upload is fine. But as soon as I put the BE63 back in router mode the speeds goes back to normal. I even tried hooking my old Orbi system back up and ran that for a few days. I had no random disconnections at all. I'm at wits end trying to figure this out. Someone had mentioned this was a known problem with HW version 1.6 and the newest HW version fixed the connection issues. Any truth to that?

@icehawk940 So I just started having issues this afternoon. I'm using HW 2.6, and the units can't seem to hold a connection. The tech support asked me to try to use one of the other units as the Main Unit, and those couldn't even create a stable network. I just purchased these in Sept 2025.

@loadii How long have you had the pair? HW Version #? Firmware Version #?

@jzchen someone mentioned the latest firmware seems to be the issue and apparently there is a beta release that's supposed to fix these issues.

There is a beta for the BE63 but only for the following hardware version.
Deco BE65(EU/US/AU/CA/UK)_V2.0
Deco BE63(US)_V2.6
Deco BE11000(US)_V2.6

This product looks like an alpha version at best. I have many other TP link products in my house and they are all excellent.

@loadii i got rid of the be63 i have the BE95 now and haven't had any issues at all

@HelpFixDecoApp hw version 1.6 was horrible and I believe isn't being sold anymore although I sure there is still a few new ones out there. I had that one originally replaced it with 2.6 it was night and day difference. I have the BE95 now and it's been excellent I gave my BE63 to a family member and they have said the last firmware messed it all up.
