The features for preferred node and preferred band are available on Deco S4 hardware version 4.6 and will be a staple feature on any future hardware versions. The feature is not yet available for V3.2 or lower and I am not sure if it will become available either. We do not get release plans and generally new features have a hardware compatibility element so older versions do not always get new features.
