Can't Remove wifi Network
Can't Remove wifi Network
I had an issue with the latest update which cause the system to be unstable. I deleted my deco wifi network and attempted re-added a new network with same name and password. Unfortunately when I tried to add the network back through the app, I get a message that I need to use a different name for the new network due the another deco device has the same name. I checked both my pixel phone and PC and sure enough it still listed in the available wifi network. i see all three of my old network(2.4/5, 6 and lot). They are not showing up in my saved phone, PC network anymore so I can't delete them. It also not showing up in the deco app. How can I remove these ghost deco networks?

You need to reset every deco you own by pressing the reset button on the bottom of each deco for one second. You will know they are rest when they start flashing blue. Once they are flashing blue unplug all the units expect your main deco
Now set up your main deco with your old SSID and password. Once the main unit is set up you can start adding your other decos back into the network

When you reset all the decos they will flash blue you need to go into the deco app and start the set up process during set up it should ask you to give your network a name and a password this is where you will enter the name of your old network and its password

I have already tried adding via the app. It comes back no Internet connection and fails to add. My modem is working. Don't know what else to do.

When you open the app now what is the first screen you see? Are you getting any error messages in the app?

So What I see when I start the app. Let begin, select model, start up instructions, then start the connection button, it starts search for the deco. It finds and ask permission to to connect it connects and start searching for the deco and that where it stops and can't connect. No error message

When your trying the set up process what color is the light on the front of the deco your tring to set up? Also did you reset every deco by pressing the reset button on the bottom for one second?
Make sure all units are reset and unplug expect for the deco that is directly connected to your modem
If none of that helps try installing the deco app on another phone/tablet and see if you can do the set up from that phone/tablet

Thank you for your help. I figured out the problem. Two issues, conflicting info from frontier about an outages in my area and whether my modem was working. Also a deco I didn't know about not reset and unplugged. I am back up. Hopefully no more issues. Thanks again for your help.
