P9 firmware issue now not working at all
P9 firmware issue now not working at all
My internet has been giving me issues and I was immediately blaming the provider. It turns out the issue started after my firmware was updated to the newest version. It cuts out and then comes back on a minute later non-stop throughout the day. Anyway I suspected it was that firmware update so I downloaded it and tried to reinstall it onto the deco. I thought it all went smoothly and it said restarting but now it doesn't work at all. I couldn't access it on the web interface or with The Deco app so I reset it and now I can connect to the temporary wifi name but it won't complete setup and says ethernet not connected. Obviously the firmware installation didn't complete or something or there was a glitch. What can I do now to try and save these devices so I don't have to buy new ones? I would like to go back to the last firmware version as well if possible.

How did you reset it via the app or by pressing the reset button on the bottom of the deco for one second? If you reset the deco from the app try resetting it this time by the button on the bottom.
it might help to reset each deco this way then upplug all of them but the one you want as your main deco then try the setup process again
We can roll back the driver once we get your internet back up and running

I did finally get it to work but it's doing the same thing as before. We have streaming TV and it keeps pausing and playing then pausing. It is not my internet for sure because when I reset my modem and disconnect the deco it works fine.
I tried to install the older firmware version but it says unable to install, use a newer version. How can I go about getting this old firmware on there? It's a deco p9 system

I was trying Deco P9(US)_V2_1.1.5 Build 20231229
If thay didn't fix the issue I planned to try the other older one

I would try Deco P9(US)_V2_1.1.3_201228 which is the version before the one you have been trying

I will try that now. I'm sure it will probably also say "unsuccessful, Try a newer version"
