Both my laptops are powered by ethernet cable connected to my modem.  I bought the TP-link in hope to power my cell phone via the access point instead of the modem WI-FI to avoid corrupting my ethernet connections.  So, I have NO WI-FI.  I connected the access point and the Linksys router to the POE which is plugged into a power outlet. So, the lights were on, everything seemed to be connected properly, but I had no internet access cuz I the cell phone had no WI-FI.  The problem is that without WI-FI I'm unable to connect to tplinkap.et to fetch firmware.  Would I be able to use the access point WI-FI without downloading firmware first?
