Model: Archer BE230
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.1.1 Build 20240912 rel.12553(5553)

I suppose this is in need of newer firmware, but is currently on the newest available.

Maybe a hardware revision is coming as well, can anyone at TPLINK confirm? I would gladly return this and wait for a v2 or something.

Wired conditions, z690a pro mobo 2.5g port, nvme only, with an nvme only raid5 nas server. All gravy.

testing so far, the 2.5g port with a 2.5g mobo can easily do 280MB/s sustained. very nice indeed.

wireless intel ax201 160mhz, with the previous setup (wifi5 netgear ex7000), 120MBs was the max throughput, and it was consistent.

be2300 is set to dfs 52 (same as ex7000, a clear channel for me), 160mhz, it is reporting this in a wifi analyzer. phone and laptop both confirm wifi6 160mhz.

the be230 bitrate seems to drop once transfers are started from 2000-860mbps. which is typical of firmware or even cpu load issues.

I cant seem to find a way to monitor the cpu load...this may show my suspicion though.

and the resulting transfer speeds top out at 90MB/s, but fluctuate from 50-90 along with the bitrate drop

something is not right, @ 2000 bitrate we should easily clear 120MB/s

I can stand next to the router and see 2400mbps bitrate, but same issues.

we getting a firmware update anytime soon?
