Model: Deco BE75
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version: 1.0.6 Build 20240725

I connected a Luxul XMS 1010P switch to the Deco BE75 Router via Ethernet ( 2.5gb port on the Deco router to 1GB port on the switch. I was able to login to the switch change the ip address to put it on the main network with 192.168.68.3. I can ping it and login to to the web interface to manage it but it will NOT show up in the app as a connected device. I also have a TrendNet 10GB switch connected to the Router via Ethernet 10GB to 10GB and can piing it and login to the web interface and is DOES show as connected Ethernet device in the app. So can someone point me in the direction on why I can't see the Luxul connected in the app?

  @BESII Does the Luxul switch generate traffic sent to the Deco?

Is the switch receiving its IP address via DHCP?  Does it send traffic to Internet?

If the switch does not send traffic to the Deco, the switch is not a client of the Deco.

I solved the issue by changing the port from auto negotiate to 1000FDX

I set a static ip address. I have devices connected to the switch and they are recognized it the Deco app. So wouldn't the switch be?. I changed the port on the switch to 1000FDX from auto and it connected but after a few hours it disconnected again.

Spoke to quick. It disconnected after a few hours. All devices connected to the switch show up in the Deco app but the switch does not

  @BESII

I suspect the switch is not transmitting data to the Deco, hence the Deco is not aware that the switch is present.

If you want the switch to be visible by the Deco, I suggest configuring the switch to obtain an IP address from the Deco, and, on the Deco, assigning a static IP address  to the switch (by reserving an IP address for the switch on the Deco).  By doing that, I expect that the switch will regularly communicate with the Deco, to continue leasing its IP address.

I will give it a try... But Interesting enough I Trendnet 7124WS 10GB switch set with a static address and plugged into 10GB port on the BE75 and it works fine. The Luxul is an older switch and may have set in the config that's causing the issue.
