Model: Deco PX50
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version:

I recently installed a set of PX50 deco units. They work great for the most part but can absolutely not get my epson wf-2630 printer to connect to the wifi. If I creat a guest network it connects right away but then I can't find the printer on the network when attempting to print something. Also, my masterbuilt smoke is the same way. It will only connect to a guest network. Why is this and what can I do to fix the issue? I don't like have a guest network as it is just going to cause more radio interference than there already is in my area.

  @Clent724 I have a similar problem! FRUSTRATING!!!!

House: 4600 sqft, 2 living levels

3 - BE16000

1 - X50 Outdoor (Garage)

My printers (Epson), print servers (Cups on a Pi), Brother Scanner, and another label printer will not stay connected. I struggle to even get them connected!

So far:
- I have turned off Fast Roaming.

- Beam Forming and still is not correcting the problem.

- Experimented with forcing the printer to use only 2.4ghz

- Set my printer to only use a specific mesh node.

I am at the end of trying.

  @CJHarman I fooled with it a long time and completely redid the entire network but it still did the same thing.

I ended up putting the decos in access point mode and factory reset my modem/router and disabled the wifi radios. Everything works fine now with the exact same settings I was using when it was in router mode, 2.4 and 5ghz both enabled, wpa2 security. It just doesn't make sense. I'd say it's a glitch in the firmware or something.
