Use MoCA for the Deco XE75 satellite unit for wired backhaul.
Use MoCA for the Deco XE75 satellite unit for wired backhaul.

Need help setting up a MoCA device on an TP-Link Deco (XE75) AXE5400 Tri-Band WiFi 6E Mesh System connected to an AT&T U-verse BGW210-700 gateway. I currently have the main Deco router connected to the AT&T U-verse BGW210-700 router/modem which is set up in pass through mode. The other Deco satellite unit is connected via wireless backhaul. I have coaxial cable setup throughout the house, and would like to use MoCA for the Deco satellite unit to be connected via wired backhaul. Can you please help. Thank you!

@nrjessup No you can't use old routers to provide moca. Once you turn on pass through on a router, it disables all functions like wifi, FW and moca. That is why you need the adapters instead.

@nrjessup ASUS MA-25
POE filter might be needed for Uverse but honestly I am not sure. Since the Coax is feeding the TVs I tried to check what frequencies cable TV channels run at, and it seems you can switch the MA-25 to Mode 1 to avoid interference. All a little tech heavy for me to be completely honest...

@nrjessup I have been using go coax with no issues. They sell single or two packs.

@RickW Not compatible with AT&T U-Verse, or other non-MoCA compliant subscription services. However thank you for your reply!
