Speed Drop After 12/5
Speed Drop After 12/5

My 1Gig service was getting expected wifi speeds when I did a speed test on 12/5 (and every test prior).
When I did another one 2/1 (and every one since) my speeds have dropped considerably, like over 80%.
I didn't change anything so wondering what's going on.
My AT&T fiber gateway is still getting the expected speeds with the 1G service.
Any ideas?

That is also called BE65, and I'm running the same f/w and my ISP speed is 1Gbps as well.
I've got an Intel BE200 M.2 adapter.
If I run the speed test in the Deco app on my phone, this is what I get:
Yet I can't reach that spped on wireless:
Not even close.
I am using the MLO band, and the 6Ghz is about the same.
The older f/w I was getting about 800Mpbs+, approaching 920Mbps.
Not sure why it is this way? The PC is litterally 10Ft away from the router.

Here's a screenshot of my history via the app running on my phone, as well as a speed test on my AT&T Gateway:

I'm wondering if you had a power drop?
I have an UPS on all PC's, Router and Modem. As long as the power drop isn't for afew hours, we are OK (also is the ISP didn't drop cable signal). However, our printer is no a UPS... and it seems that when power comes back, it occasionally gets a new IP address (wireless connect for the printer) and our PC's can't print, new to 'search' on the PC's for a printer (HP printer) to be able to print as they find the new address.
Modem's tend to remember devices connected to them. If they have a 'bad' connection, speeds will be slower.
I suggest you turn off the modem, router, and all devices. Power on in sequence, the modem, router, and devices, making sure the modem is Fully up before powering the router back on, and after the router is up, the devices and test. Hopefully this will 'fix' it?

@IrvSp hello all! I have the exact same issue. Did the powering devices off and powering them in sequence help? Trying this now. I'll repost when I see the speed test results.

@Mchevownr016 Not a TP-Link router, but UPS (the cheaper simulated sine wave type) can cause noise interference on WiFi. Tested a WiFi 7 router out then installed a UPS for it, and surprise all of a sudden terrible WiFi speed. I could confirm by switching to surge only ports on the same UPS that normal WiFi service returned...
Any serious speed issues suggest plug the power plug directly to a surge strip or power outlet to confirm it is not the UPS....

@kovach gotcha. What mesh system did you go with after?

@Mchevownr016 it worked for me! After the sequential restart speeds are back at full! Thank you everyone for your help.

I just went with AT&T's Wifi 7 equipment and extenders.
I think it's fairly new and needs some work, I do need to reset an extender occasionally, but then again something goes wrong it's not all my equipment to fix/replace.
