Model: Deco X20
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 1.2.5 Build 20240720 Rel. 66739

About Oct or Nov of 2024 my Samsung TV Plus streaming suddenly stopped working on both of my Samsung TVs. It was working prior to this. All other streaming apps on the TV work (ex: Prime, Netflix, Max, Paramount+, all work). The List/Guide for Samsung TV Plus works. I just get a network error when selecting the Samsung TV Plus channels. No other connection issues.

Additional configuration infomration:
My Deco backhaul is wired using TP-Link TL-SG116E switch. ISP is CSpire Fiber - GBit ethernet.

I have tried the following in troubleshooting:

- Disabled Content Filter, IPS, and quarantine (does not work)

- Disabled QoS (doesn not work)

- UPNP enabled and disabled (does not work)
- Connecting wired directly to Deco X20    (does not work)
- Connecting WiFi to Deco X20  (does not work)

    - Connected to Guest Wifi (does not work)

    - Connect to IoT or Trusted WiFI (does not work)

- Connecting wired to TL-SG116E switch on network (does not work)

- Changed DNS settings (does not work)

- Hard set IP address settings and DNS on TV (does not work)

- Reset network and other settings on Samsung TV (does not work)

- Factor reset Samsung TVs. (does not work)

- Powered complete network off for 30 minutes and restarted. (does not work)

- Connected to Hotspot using Ubuntu, MacBook, and Windows wired on the same network (It Works!)  I know weird right.

- Connected to iPhone Hotspot (It also Works!)

- Connected to different router (Works!)

It appears that there is only an issue when conencting the TVs to the TP-Link devices directly whether wired or wireless. Is anyone else having these issues? I saw a closed thread from 2023 so I had to start a new thread here.

  @Drew1689

Had trouble with Visio TV (their own programming) and the TV kept disconnecting...  Two seperate issues.

Kept disconnecting.  It didn't like the 2.4/5 Ghz combined.  Used the guest network for a 5 only SSID.  Solved that.

Visio programing was due to using an ad blocking DNS.  I just went back to the ISP's defaults and that was solved also.

Thanks for your input. I find it weird to see the results of using a hotspot on the same network and it working but nothing else works. I tried an ad blocking DNS as well. I've also turned off all security features but to no avail. Wired or wireless it fails to connect and stream channels. The menu always works for TV Plus but no streaming. I knew the 2.4/5Ghz wasn't the issue since wired doesn't work either but since you mentioned it - as a test I tried the individual bands (2.4GHz and then 5GHz) - didn't work as expected.

Re:Samsung TV Plus connection issues
Wednesday

• ISP: CSpire Fiber – 1 Gbps
