Unable to Make Changes in App
Unable to Make Changes in App

Regarding Deco XE75 Pro mesh x3.
Hello, I've installed this system and it appears to work fine. However, I've noticed that while the android app (ver. 3.9.23) connects to the mesh devies and display all settings, I'm unable to change settings without rebooting. For example, the app displays all connected devices and current settings, but doesn't display the current network speed and doesn't allow me to change settings or reboot devices via the app. If I reboot, I get control again for a day or so. Ideas?

Thanks! Here's the number: TKID250505841
I'm not confidence the problem is the app now. When I access the main router via web browser GUI, I'm able to log-in and see the basic information - but when I attempt to change settings - I get a message stating, "Unable to refresh page". Strange. Again, if I reboot the main unit or network, I can see and change settings for a day or so.

I already let the people helping me know about this thread so they should be able to see your logs via the number you gave me. Most of my issues with the app right now see to be all diusplay issues but now if i go into certain screens it reboots my damn router LOL

Talk about poor service. The tech reply I recieved appears to be for the wrong problem, and they ask that I install the Android app I'm already running.

@shaywood in total I was having a few problems like random reboots of the mesh system when using the app, the app not displaying network devices, and not showing network speed. The other day I disabled the option to ignore pings from WAN in Internet Connection - IPv4. Since then everything seems to be working correctly.

The problems i were having were due to using an out of date firmware and the check you can run for new firmware from the app wasn't telling me there was a new firmware version when there was.
You should check to see if there is new firmware by doing the following
1. Log into http://tplinkdeco.net/
2. Click on Advance followed by system
3. Now click on Firmware Upgrade
4. At the bottom click on "Check up Upgrades"
If you have the most recent update i would open up a support ticket
