I know that by default all networking devices have an ip of 192.168.1.1. My modem has been changed to another IP scheme. Now that I have connected the switch to my system, my PC Ipv4 is showing a 192 IP. How do I get the Switch to change the network Ip addresses that it hands out to devices?

 

I have accessed my switch via Ip address I set up with my modem and the easy smart config software. Every setting I have changed under the IP settings have not changed my PC's  IP

The TL-SG108E IP address will be received via DHCP from your router DHCP server, whatever LAN IP address you've set on it.

Here's an example from switch web management interface:

Of course, you can set a static IP address on the switch if you want that - here's an example from the EasySmart Configuration Utility:
