  @Riley_S  this lock has lost wifi with only a week of having it. Did everything possible.  Nothing works

Note: The DL100 ad claims that 4 AA batteries "included" will last between 7 and 10 months. I found that they lasted barely 1 month connected to wifi.

 

I switched to BLE- @Wayne-TP claims it would last longer-but it's on track to also expire a set of 4 new AA batteries in 1 month as well. 

 

I opened a support case-TKID251263258-and the advice in the email I received instructs me to employ nonstandard AA batteries. Nowhere in this ad copy does it say to purchase "high drain" or "high capacity" alkaline batteries. Either the ad omitted these facts, or you are finding your claims to not hold water. Either way, the fact is that the ad copy is not to be believed.

 

The email I received from support-while I appreciate the attempt to help me-makes the claim that the motor battery load is the problem and I think that this should be reconsidered.

 

My lock has almost no motor load. It is unlocked from outside once or twice per day. It is locked by hand every night due to the lack of intelligent smart features like auto-locking. I'm fairly certain that the biggest load is the network.

 

Since this morning, the lock has gone from reporting 29% to reporting 25%.

 

Fix this. Seriously. Fix it.
