iIoT

I have two questions
First is that I just set up the IoT network. When I look at what devices are on each of the three deco units in the network, how do I tell which is on the main WiFi called 7 and which is on the new IoT network called AUTO?
Second, I have an esphome (esp8266 board) that I call " B". If I do a local network scan it shows up. It does not show up anywhere on the Deco scan from the Deco app. I do know the mac address and ip address of "B" so it just isn't shown
Any ideas would be appreciated

On the network tap in the deco app you should see "Everything looks good" click on this. You will now see a list of all the decos you have on this network click on any of them. You will now see a list of all devices connected to that deco. They will be displayed as mac address numbers. So if you wanted to see which deco your cell phone was connected to you would need to find it's mac address and search for it on each deco till you found it
You can also from this screen click on a device and tell it which deco unit you want it to connect to.
Click on a device in the list, Go to "Connection Preference" and under "Preferred Deco" select which deco device you want your device to connect to.
It helps to find the mac address of each of your devices first and then rename them in the deco app before trying to assign them to a specific deco. You can rename a device from the same screen you see the "Connection Preference" option
The device that you can't see in the deco does it have internet access? If not is it a 2.4 device? If so that may be why it's not connecting.

@HelpFixDecoApp Thanks for the info. The device does not have internet access, just local access and is only 2.4mhz. It is an esp8266 board. Think aurdino. Is that why it doesn't show up in the deco app even though i know its mac address and ip?

Deco's broadcast in 2.4 ghz and 5 ghz and higher depending on the mode of deco you have and devices that are 2.4 ghz can be a pain in the ass to connect while 5 ghz is being broadcast. You can try and temporary turn off the 5 ghz broadcast and then see if it will connect but it still might not connect.
From the network tap click on "More" then "Wi-Fi Settings. At the top you should see "2.4 GHz & 5 Ghz Network" click that.
Now click "Advanced" followed by "Band"
And uncheck everything BUT 2.4 GHz
Then try to connect your device

@ds495 I had set up an IoT network called "auto" in the Deco 55 as that was only 2.4. When the device was programed to connect to "auto", the device works but again, did not show up. All the devices connected in the house showed up and I could not find a way to only see what, if anything was on "auto"

I have a Broadlink RM4 pro IR RF WiFi Universal Remote that took me over a year to get the damn thing to connect to my deco even with 5 GHz turned off. I was trying off and on to get it to work.
If you turn off the 5 GHz broadcast and it still won't connect you should open up a ticket with support they may have ideas on how to get it to connect :)

@ds495 No problem at all wish I knew of a way to get it to connect but I'm still not sure to this day why mine finally decided to connect lol when the RM4 pro dies I'm switching it with a LinknLink IR remote. I have two of those already and never had a single issue getting them to connect to my deco's.
