Can I Configure a Deco X55 for Access Point Mode and Still Use it in A Mesh Network
I have a Deco X55 that is currently in Router mode. It is a mesh network with the main X55 and two other access points. My previous experience with mesh networking was Google Nest products that could not be in Access Point mode and be in a mesh. To be part of a mesh at least one had to be in router mode and the others were configured as points. I recently changed ISPs to a fiber connection. My previous ISP I was only using a modem. The new ISP does not have modem-only equipment so the Deco is now uplinked to the ISP router (I am double natted). Can I switch the Deco to AP mode and still have the mesh? I have not figured out the correct combination of search terms to find the answer online. Most of the hits I get are telling me how to move it to access point mode. They aren't answering the question.
