Model: Archer C3150
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 3.2.0 0.9.1 v005f.0 Build 220919 Rel 64400n

I recently realized that I was not getting full 1Gbit LAN speeds so I updated all the cables to internal LAN devices to cat5e and suddenly I had 1Gbit speeds between my LAN devices...hurray so far.  Then I was able to also get WAN upload and download speeds above 500Mbit/sec, my provider provides 1Gbit fiber optic.  Also find so far...and it was working great for about a week, then suddenly for some reason I do not know why, my WAN download speed dropped to 95Mbit.  Upload speed still is at 650Mbit and my computer shows it is negotating a 1000Mbit connection with the router....but the WAN is throttling all the download to 100Mbit.  I treied to bypass the C3150 and am still getting 750Mbit over my WAN connection, so something in the C3150 router is slowing down my WAN download speeds, but not upload speeds..

What could be causing this and what can I do about it?

@Dewdman42 If you have QOS on, try turning it off.  I had better download speeds on my BE800 with it off.

I've never used QoS.  I looked at portal, can't see any way to turn it off.  There are just options to choose "standard", "gaming", etc..    anyway I have never touched that functionality and a week ago I was getting great download speeds, something changed since then beyond my understanding...  if you know how to make sure QoS is turned off please let me know, I can't find an on off switch for it.

well holy crap, selected "standard" QoS setting, since there is no on off switch and guess what, my speed came back...  Thanks for the tip.  What I don't know is why it ever worked previously last week, because i have never touched that router setting before now.
