BE25-5000 slow internet with 4 APs
I own a 4000 square-foot home and purchased three BE 25 routers. However, I still experienced poor connection in a specific area of my house. Consequently, I decided to buy a fourth router, regardless of the number I already had. Despite having a one gigabyte connection, I’ve been unable to exceed 200 MB of download speed.
My main router is directly connected to my FiOS connection, without any modem in between. The ONT is connected to my main BE 25 router. I’ve rebooted the network and reset the FiOS connector box in my garage, which is supposed to clear all connections from that box back to the FIOS router somewhere in the street. However, my speeds are still significantly lower than expected.
All my phones, laptops, and towers in the house are 6E capable, although I understand that the 25 routers cannot support 6E. Nevertheless, I’m unable to surpass 190 to 200 MB of download speed. Is there anything I can examine to determine if my access points are too close to each other or if there’s anything else I can investigate to troubleshoot this issue?
