Archer BE550 6 GHz Network Download Speed Limited
My PC is connected to the 6 GHz network created by my BE550 via a wifi-7 enabled antenna. There are no physical barriers between the router and antenna, and no other devices are active on the network or other applications running, but during tests my download speeds never exceed 95 megabits/sec.
What device is being used to measure and what is the H/W?
Is this a NEW Install of the Router or was it working well before.
If new, did you follow these steps?
What you are experiencing I think it not doing the Router to Modem connection as above but just connected the modem and router with the modem ON.
If that is the case, just turn off the Modem and Router, then the Modem on waiting for it to fully power up and all lights on, then the Router. PC should be OFF as well and turned on lost.
Retest to see if it is fixed.
You can ALSO in the Tether Phone app run a SPEED TEST from Modem to Router and that would be the maximun speed you can get, however, wireles on a WiFi connection with a WiFi 7 wireless adapter would be limited to about 940Mbps on a 1Gbps ISP service.
