Model: Archer AXE300
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: Archer AXE300(US)_V1.6_1.0.11 Build 20241115

This question has been asked earlier on the support form, but it's so old that the thread is locked. I'm starting this new one in the hope that we'll get some response from TP-Link. Or maybe someone else has heard something?

  @TheMikeT

Thank you for reopening this issue. It truly is shameful how TP-Link continues to ignore their commitments with the AXE300 and EasyMesh.

TPlink has three proprietary mesh technologies, OmadaMesh, DecoMesh, and OneMesh. They also support a fourth mesh technology that is "Open", i.e., all manufacturer's can support, which is EasyMesh. None of them are compatible with each other. TPlink, in their effort for dominance in the WIFI industry, has done nothing but create confusion and have caused their clients to waste their money as they are rewarded financially.

Which technology does TPLink support the least, even after years of stating they would... Yup, EasyMesh  Personally, I would recommend anybody trying to figure out which mesh network they would like to use, I would recommend the mesh that has been universally standardized across all manufacturerers, which is EASYMESH. Preferably with any manufacturer other than TPlink. Why? Because the end users should be able to purchase multiple easymesh devices by multiple manufacturers, without ANY incompatibility issues.

Shame on you TPlink.
