Model: Deco X55
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version:

I used to get good wifi on my den's X55 like 467 which is the provider limit. I can only get about 75 now. The unit is behind one wall from the main X55.

I have tried resetting the wifi adaptor which used to correct the issue.

Can you please provide your hardware and firmware version? You can find the hardware version on the bottom of your deco and the firmware version by going into the deco app then click on More > System

Need help with the Deco app, setup, Ethernet backhaul, network switch or rolling back firmware? Router or AP mode? https://community.tp-link.com/us/home/forum/topic/699816?page=1

@tekwrite Both secondary decos are connected via wireless adaptor Should I be using the ethernet adaptor on both of them?

IF possible I would switch the cable that connects to the den's X55 and see if that fixes the speed issue. Something else you can try is the network optimization tool in the deco app

In the deco app click on More > Network Optimization > Scan

@HelpFixDecoApp I optimized and it is about 200 Mbps now so that is good. The provider limits the router to about 467 Mbps.

Thanks!

Where are you getting the speed results from?
