Model: Deco X95
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.2.5 Build 20240903 Rel. 50784

I replaced my old mode with an Arris s33 and I was able to access the modem page through 192.168.100.1. But now since replacing it with the arris s33, I can't even ping to that address and its listed in the modem instructions also.  All my deco settings are exactly the same from my last modem.

Okay, I understand that after replacing your previous modem with an Arris S33, you are now unable to access the modem's web interface at 192.168.100.1 when your Deco Mesh system is connected, even though this was possible with your previous setup and your Deco settings remain unchanged.

To clarify, standard Deco Mesh models (such as Deco M5, X50, XE75, BE65, etc.) do not have built-in modem functionality. They rely on an external modem or ONT to provide Internet access. When you connect your Deco to a modem like the Arris S33, the Deco acts as a router and manages your home network, but it does not provide direct access to the modem's management page by default.

Here are some important points and suggestions:
1. Accessing the Modem Interface:
• When Deco is connected to your modem, the Deco creates its own network and may block direct access to the modem's management page (192.168.100.1) from devices connected to Deco Wi-Fi or LAN ports. This is a common behavior with many routers.
• To access the Arris S33 modem interface, try temporarily disconnecting the Deco and connecting your computer directly to the modem via Ethernet. Then, access 192.168.100.1 from your browser.

2. Deco Mesh and Modem Compatibility:
• Standard Deco models require an external modem for Internet access. Your Arris S33 should work fine with Deco, but management page access is typically only available when directly connected.

3. Additional Notes:
• If you need to use Deco with an existing router, you can either replace the router with Deco or connect Deco to a LAN port of the router. If you connect all Deco units to the router via Ethernet, set Deco to Access Point Mode for best compatibility.
• Deco does not support repeater or range extender mode and cannot extend other Wi-Fi networks.
