Model: Deco BE11000
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 0.1.0 3.0.0 v60af.0 Build 240424 Rel.48510n

I have a Ziply Fiber internet service that came with two deco units. I'm trying to add two more nodes to my existing network using the BE22000 (two units).  The existing controller won't detect the new devices.  I've tried resetting the new devices into agent mode (5 sec hold on the reset button). I've tried WPS mode setting in the web interface for the controller, via the phone app, and by phsyically pressing the button on the controller device and then on the new unit.  Didn't work.  I've tried direct ethernet conection between the new unit and the controller, still no joy.

Any thoughts of what else I can try?  I checked with Ziply and they don't restrict the addtion of units to the network.  I'm at a loss of what could be wrong.  Neither of the new devices want to work.

@Hardware_Nut What is the app you use to control the Ziply Decos?  Is it the Deco Router App?

@jzchen it's called Aginet but I have the Deco app on as well and you can tell they are the same just branded differently

@Hardware_Nut So as I understand adding the new Decos should be a function on the app.  Especially after resetting them they should be visible.  Have you tried adding them there on this Aginet app?

@jzchen Yeah the app has a '+' icon in the top right corner, but won't find the new units.  I can set the new units up as router or access point and they do work independently - fresh SSID etc just not with the current one.  I'm probably going to try Ziply's tech support next week.  I was just hoping someone else had run into the same issue.

@Hardware_Nut From what I researched unfortunately Aginet is not compatible with Deco routers.  Your closest bet is to wire the primary unit and set is as AP and use the 2nd as a Deco mesh node.  Try editing the SSID to match the current ones, (it may allow this but if not try turning off the WiFi radios on the Aginet routers, then set it to the matching SSID, then turn the radios back on).

@jzchen Thanks for that.  I'll give that a try today and report back
