starlink and google services issue
starlink and google services issue
I got these a while ago. I connect directly from Starlink to the unit and I'm using it as a router overall it works really great however I randomly very frequently have issues connecting to Google services. We use Google for work so I need to connect to Google Calendar Google email, etc. etc. and quite often. I can only do that if I use a VPN both Google installing analyzed and both feel that this is a router problem. I did a quick search online and it seems there are a lot of people reporting this issue. The number one work around people say is don't use it as a router use it as an excess point but I bought this so I can use it as a router. Is there no way to configure it so it actually works. It seems terrible

direct and be1100 is set to router. as a workaround i tried to connect some old netgreat router and that worked (using net gear as router only or net gear router and tp as access point. but i did not buy this unit so i have to use some old third party router

@cmeisel Please share/check Hardware Ver No on bottom of unit and current firmware, make sure the latest firmware is installed?

@cmeisel Might be worth a shot to enable IPv6 service to the Deco:

I posted my hardware and firmware below. I also saw that I'm not the only user even in this forum and that's so far. The only workaround seems to be to not use the TP link router as a router. I bought the router because I want to use it as a router.
This problem reproduces all the time every day, and it only happens with my deco other older routers work. It seems like it would be really easy to a reproduce the problem in the house and fix it or ,if the Development team cannot get their hands on a starlink router, ask affected users for very specific information like trace routes or run (i run mac's) mtr in the terminal or run wireshark. i'm happy to do all this if somebody's interested I just want us to be taken

i'm kind of shocked that TP Link is completely ignoring this problem. This doesn't happen with Other Routers, it is easy to reproduce and it affects more and more users since Starlink is growing their user base.
When I bought these relatively expensive BE1100 units, I did not know that they had virtually no support and were extremely slow to respond to any issue. As much as I hate Netgear or eero's at least they constantly work on their issues Release new update updates, etc

@cmeisel It's kind of sad they're almost being banned from sales here in the US. About the only secret they can get from my household is how my parents and I avoided catching COVID all this time, which I don't mind sharing anyways....

this is an entirely different topic and has absolutely nothing to do with TP link not fixing no issues with their router. I don't think that this topic belongs here. If you do business like this one way or another, you're going out of business anyways you can't build build a product and not actually support it and not give a damn.
