I understand that you would like to change the LAN IP address of your Deco X60 router from the default (192.168.68.1) to something like 10.0.0.0.
You can absolutely set a custom LAN IP address range on your Deco Mesh system. Here’s how to do it:
1. Open the Deco App on your smartphone and make sure you are connected to your Deco Wi-Fi network.
2. Go to MORE > Advanced > LAN IP.
3. Set your desired LAN IP address and subnet mask. For example, you can enter 10.0.0.1 as the LAN IP and choose an appropriate subnet mask (such as 255.255.255.0 for a /24 network). Save the settings.
4. The DHCP server IP pool will automatically update to match your new LAN IP range.
Important Note: If the Deco's WAN interface receives an IP address that falls within the same range as your configured LAN IP (for example, if your LAN is set to 10.0.0.1/24 and your WAN gets an IP like 10.0.0.2/24), Deco will automatically change its LAN IP address to the next available range to avoid conflicts. This is because the router cannot have WAN and LAN in the same IP range, as it may cause NAT issues. This automatic adjustment ensures your internet connection remains uninterrupted.
