Model: Deco BE16000
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: Current

I just installed a DECO BE68 (BE 14000) mesh network (replacing an Archer BE9500). The new mesh network is providing the whole-home coverage I needed. Wireless download speeds are consistently above 600 Mbps throughout the house and near 800 Mbps at the location of the primary router. The problem is upload speeds are consistently below 1Mbps with readings consistently as low as 200Kbps. These speeds are regardless of location or which DECO unit my device is connected too, and are also regardless of device and location. (I have a sub 1 Mbps reading right next to the main router.)

This is on a 1Gbps up/down Fios plan. My Archer BE9500 consistently delivers similar wireless download speeds and upload speeds exceeding 200 Mbps.

The firmware is up to date. QoS is off. IoT network is off. MLO is off. I haven't changed any of the advanced settings. There are no speed limits on any of the devices. I cannot find any reason why the upload speeds would be this low. I have re-booted and also completely reinstalled the whole system twice. Nothing has changed.

(Also note, this thread did not allow me to select the BE14000 so I selected the 16000 so I could post this. I don't know what's up with TP-Link's forum settings.)

Same Deco here but I don't have that problem?

Did you start 'new', or just replicated the old settings from the BE9500?

If you replicated the settings on the Deco, well, I've found this is good, but you have to go to the devices, at least most of them, and FORGET the network and connect again...

PC's especially need this. I suspect they hold some old settings relating to the old router/Deco?

Also, re-booting the router isn't enough. Has to be done in order, powering up the Modem, then Deco/router, and lastly the devices.

I have 1Gbps down and 40Mbps up. Reach those with Ethernet connection and my Wireless hits 880+Mbps doown and something well over 900Mbps, and 40Mbps +/- 1Mbps up.

Some devices do better, but could be SSD used and locations...
