Second HS200 installed in 4 gang box has power, but isn't delivering power to outlet
Saturday
Model: Kasa HS200
Hardware Version: V5
Firmware Version: 1.0.3

I have a 4 gang box in my garage that controls (left to right) the ceiling lights, the ceiling outlets, the outside lights (HS200), and an outside outlet under the eaves.

I have an existing HS200 from a couple years ago installed to control the outside lights. I bought and installed another HS200 unit (slightly different hardware version) to control the outside outlet under the eaves. I've hooked it up the same way I did the initial HS200 and was able to get it connected to the app, but when I press the switch it isn't delivering power to the outlet. I've double checked my wiring and I'm not sure what is wrong. I tried flipping the load and line in the new HS200 but that didn't change anything.

All of the grounds are tied together, all of the load wires are tied together, and all of the neutral lines are tied together (the neutrals are two pigtails daisy chained together.)

Does it work if you try to power it on via the app?

Are all 4 neutral wires on the same breaker?

Have you checked to make sure you have the most up to date firmware? In the Kasa or Tapo app click on The Icon on the top left that looks like a little person > Firmware Update.

Any other thoughts on this?

Need help with the Deco app, setup, Ethernet backhaul, network switch or rolling back firmware? Router or AP mode? https://community.tp-link.com/us/home/forum/topic/699816?page=1

  @HelpFixDecoApp
Thank you for repling.
Toggling power on the app doesn't have any affect.

I'm not sure if the neutral wires are all on the same breaker. I know when I flipped the breaker, the power the 4 switches was cut.

The firmware is update to date on the new switch. The old switch was out of date, and I updated it. It still works, but the outlet on the new switch still doesn't.

While we wait for Wayne to respond I would try to take the new switch to a different switch in the house and see if it works there? Wondering if the switch doesn't like that you pigtailed the neutral wires together.

I'll give that a try in the morning. It's definitely possible. It should also indicate if there's an actual problem with the switch (however unlikely)

I installed the switch in a light on a separate circuit and it functioned with no issues. There must be something about how it's wired int he 4 gang box that isn't working, but I don't understand what.
