2.4ghz won't connect for 1 device
2.4ghz won't connect for 1 device
Just installed this unit and everything went smoothly except for one device. I used the same SSID and password as the old network and pretty much everything auto connected, however, I have one device (an old Surface Pro 3) that is refusing to connect. It uses 2.4ghz so I tried switching to WPA2, tried 20mhz, tried updating and restarting deco and surface and it sees the wifi network just fine but always says it cannot connect when you attempt.
I created a 2.4ghz guest network with WPA2 as a test and it connects to that just fine. One of my kids uses this laptop mainly for printing color sheets so it needs to be on the main network so it can access the printer. What else can I try?
Thanks!

@HelpFixDecoApp I will try that tonight, thanks!
Although what is the solution if that works? I need 5ghz on for other devices.

@HelpFixDecoApp Thanks, just gave it a try and no luck. I also tried turning 6ghz off too so it was just 2.4 and still didn't work.
Any other ideas?

You could try the tri band option i believe your model supports it

@HelpFixDecoApp Hmm, I think that must have already been on as a default when I set it up a few days ago as the SSID and password of all 3 is already the same.

You could try to disable it and see if the devices connectes if not get back to me and I will have you open up a ticket with support

@HelpFixDecoApp Or did you mean turning on MLO?

If Tri-band was on by default you can disable it and see if the device connects - If it still wont you can mess with MLO to see if it makes a difference,
