Firmware Version: 1.3.0 Build 20250722

I specifically bought the Deco for the mesh coverage and the Access control to allow only certain MAC Addresses that was described in its capabilites.  I bought it through Amazon.  I tried updating the version when I couldn't find the Access Control menu that all of the manuals claimed was there and reaching out to TP-Link. When I finally got a response from TP-Link, I found out that only version 1 has Access Control and it was too late to return the system.  TP-Link's site makes no mention of this difference and when you buy the units, it doesn't tell you what version you are getting.  The tech who finally explained the difference said they couldn't take them back, discount them, or anything.  No sorry, nothing.  They told me to go back to Amazon, which I said above, was too late.  They now sit on my system and I am not using them for much.  I have used TP-Link over the years, but I am very disappointed and will likely never buy their products ever again,

The released a beta patch about a week ago that adds access control as well as a bunch of other upgrades :)

I have two XE75 Pro units running the beta batch and the only problem I have seen so far is that it kills my download speed on my phone when connected to WiFi but it may be an issue with my phone and not the beta patch itself.

 

But if you also notice the same issue please let me know thanks.
