BE63 v1.6 end of life
Is this Deco unit end of life? I haven't seen an update since last summer and I keep having dropped wifi connections with some devices.

Tp-link uses the End Of Sales date to determine the End of Maintenance date. In the case of the BE63 the end of sales date according to the chart below was on 6/28/2025
The End of Maintenance or end of life is usually 3 years after the EOS date so your BE63 should be ok for updates till 06-28-2028

@HelpFixDecoApp My point is if TP-Link stops updating the product it is essentially "end of life" The 2.6 version of the Deco BE63 keeps getting updated but the 1.6 version is the forgotten step-child.

@defcon911 hi i have deco be63 V1 same as yours. Do you getting issue with playstore when you download any app or game? I getting issue it stuck on download random %. And dont download. And youtube just buffering something dont play videos.

I shut off fast roaming and beam forming settings in the advanced section.. It solved most of my issues.

@DezM The EOL is BS. I've had other routers for longer than this and no EOL. Still got updates. Capitalist company. Make you buy newer crap. If I buy anything it would be Netgear this time.

@mwr1203 I think they dump the old one's on Amazon and put them on sale. If you buy straight from the manufacturer you will probaly get the latest version but you pay more. I think EOL should be when they don't sell the entire line anymore and then the clock starts ticking not on individual harware versions.
