No internet on 5ghz Guest network
Greetings,
I have two BE 3600 routers cascaded. !st is 192.168.1.1 and is enabled as the DHCP server and the pool is set to start at 192.168.1.5. 2nd is 192.168.1.2 with DHCP disabled. I have copied over all ssid's and their passwords on both the regular networks- 2g and 5g, and the guest networks. Devices connected to the main wifi networks (phones mostly) transition great between the routers without having to enter passwords and such. I have had this setup for some time and never noticed any issues. Until now...
I tried to connect a streaming box to the guest 5g network (near router #2) and it connected fine but had no internet. I verified with my phone, and a computer- successful connections with no internet. So I took out my spare; a Netgear Nighthawk. I configured it the same as the secondary TP-link, plugged it in and got the same result- successful connections with no internet. Also, when sitting beside the primary router my phone can connect to th guest 5g network and get internet.
It seems something in the primary TPlink is blocking the secondary guest 5g network's internet but I can't figure out what.
Any help would be greatly appreciated
