Model: Deco XE75 Pro
Hardware Version: V3
Firmware Version: 1.3.1. build 20251023 Rel. 47884

TP Link Community:

I have a 2 Deco setup. The main Deco connected to my ISP Fiber Modem.

Main Deco

Firmware: 1.3.1 build20251023 rel. 47884dn

Operating mode: router

HVIN Deco XE75V3

Satellite Deco

Firmware: 1.3.1 build20251023 rel. 47884dn

Operating mode: router

Hardwired to the main Deco for backhaul

Switch

TP Link TL-SG108E

Connected after the main Deco

Issues:

1. Phones ( all iphones) as well as Macbook pros lose wifi connections periodicially as well as poor wifi speeds.. Some devices lose WIFI every 20 minutes. Others a few times a day. All are using fixed Mac addresses. Sometimes the macbooks can't find the wireless network. It doesn't show up in the wifi connections list.

2. Many times, the Deco app doesn't retain the device name i've given various devices.

3. Additionally, if i connect a switch ( TP Link TL-SG108E) after my main Deco, and then connect either additional devices or the satellite Deco

ALL Decos lose internet and glow red.

4. If I connect my dell docking station to the satellite deco it will crash both decos.

I have to constantly reboot. Disconnect all deco wiring and electrical and then bring up the main deco, then the satellite and then make connections.

This is very frustrating. I'm to the point that I simply can't recommend TP-Link to anyone despite using older TP routers that work perfect with out ever having to reboot.

I've had this set up for approaching a year. No success if fixing any of these issues.

I've made many changes in the switch, routers etc trying to fix this , but to no avail

Help!

Also, I didn't see a 'hardware version' on the bottom of my deco' I see a US /3.6' that might be the hardware version.

There is a brand new beta patch that is currently being tested for the XE75 pro. You can read more about it here. It's recommened to try this new patch to see if it fixes your issues.

Thanks.

  @HelpFixDecoApp

a reddit thread said there is maybe a newer beta for xe75pro 1.4.999.

The link you provdied only goes 1.4 not 1.4.999

Thoughts on using 1.4.999?

@HelpFixDecoApp  - Thank you for this fix. I downloaded and installed yesterday and internet stability is back. Speed is a bit better.

Today I added in my TP Link TL-SG108E switch to see if it slows or crashes network after a couple of hours.

tomorrow will connect dell docking station and see if that crashes network as well.

The switch is installed after my main deco per tp link instructions.

Thanks again for your assistance.
