Deco outdoor not connecting
I have a deco outdoor on the outside of my barn, Ethernet connection to Deco inside barn. The inside unit is showing connected to base, which is weak because of the steel building. The x50 doesn't give me an option to select connection, just showed wired connection. How do I reverse these 2?

The issue here is related to which Deco unit is serving as your main Deco and how your network topology is configured. To resolve this, you have a couple of options:
Option 1: Set the Outdoor Deco as the Main Deco
If you want the outdoor Deco to be the primary connection point, you can set it as the main Deco:
1. Ensure your phone is connected to the Deco Wi-Fi network (otherwise the option won't appear).
2. Open the Deco app and click any Deco unit in the middle of the Dashboard to enter the page displaying all Deco units.
3. Click the three dots icon at the top right corner and select "Set Main Deco."
4. Select the outdoor Deco unit that you want to set as the new main Deco, then follow the instructions in the Deco app to complete the setup.
Option 2: Ensure Proper Network Topology
If your current main Deco is in the house, connect it to your modem, then connect the outdoor Deco to the main Deco via Ethernet. The indoor barn Deco should then be connected via Ethernet to the outdoor Deco. This creates a wired backhaul chain: Main Deco → Outdoor Deco (via Ethernet) → Indoor Barn Deco (via Ethernet).
Important Notes:
• If you don't see the "Set Main Deco" option in the Deco app, make sure you're logged in as the "Owner" of the network instead of "Manager," ensure you're connected to the Deco Wi-Fi network, then quit and restart the Deco app.
• The WAN MAC address will change when you switch the main Deco, so you may need to reboot your modem to get the new main Deco online.
• This method only works when the main Deco is functioning properly. If the main Deco is offline or faulty, you'll need to reset the entire network.
Once properly configured with Ethernet connections, your Deco units should prioritize the wired backhaul over wireless, giving you a much stronger and more reliable connection in your barn.
