Model : TL-WA801ND
Hardware Version :
Firmware Version : 3.16.9 Build 151217
ISP : N/A
So I have a TL-WA801ND, and have been beating my head against a wall with this issue but realized what going on.
3.16.9 Build 151217 was supposed to fix "1.Fixed a bug that the device would enable IGMP proxy by default and it may influence IPTV."
Apparently this is still not fixed when Multi SSID is used, or something else is causing this device to block propagation of multicast from the Ethernet to the wireless on any of the SSIDs/VLANs
This breaks anything that uses multicast on the network including IPv6 RA/ND and such as that is multicast.
Switching device back to Single SSID allow multicast to work, but the mine reason I got this AP is for Multi SSID, but if it cant even forward multicast properly its useless.

Nope, My workaround with the latest beta firmware was to not use SSID 1, just made it somthing random and disabled broadcast. So that leaves 3 others that work fine. I gave up on them fixing it.

The TL-WPA8630 KIT also has the same problem. This is a serious issue and should be addressed by TP-Link.

Sent an email to tech support referencing this thread...and within 30 minutes received a reply with a beta attached. It worked perfectly...took all of 10 minutes to backup config, load the new bin file and test. It is 3.16.9 build 170213. Tested the first three SSID's in multi-SSID mode and all worked perfectly.
It does have 'TPLink Beta' watermarking each page, so may want to wait until the GA copy. It's been almost a week and haven't run across any bugs...

this device is a WiFi AP only, not routing no NAT no WAN, yet it has as shown in the logs these enabled

Still no fix I have given up, the engineers can't seem to fix it. Also seems one of the other SSIDs is still effected . in addition to SSID 1.

For the heck of it did some extensive testing today with the last Beta they sent me
3.16.9 Build 170111 Rel.35852n (Beta).
Seems every boot or config save changes which SSID has working IPv6, First it was SSID 3, then 4, then 2. made no sense.
Either way still no way to have working IPv6 on seeming more then one SSID at a time. I tested this using a windows system making the SSIDS Test 1-4 and connecting, checking IPconfig for IPv6 Addresses, then disabling the adapter and re enabling it before moving on to the next.,
A simple WiFi AP should be that hard and as shown before this devices as so much baggage, it dosnt even need as it can't even route.
