No idea what you mean. Of course you can extend the DHCP address range on Archer C7:





If you want to use a larger subnet to move DHCP address range one further (did you mean that with "changing '0' to '1'"?), you either have to adjust the Archer's base address to be in the same subnet or to change the subnet mask such as in:





With this subnet mask you will get 510 useable IP addresses, although current implementation on Archer C7 lets you define only 256 addresses for the DHCP address pool (should be enough for most users except you run a data center at home :) ):





This gives you 512 IP addresses from 192.168.0.0 to 192.168.1.255, where the first and last ones are reserved for broadcasts. Thus, the router can still have the IP 192.168.0.1, your useable static IP range would be 192.168.0.2 to 192.168.1.0 and DHCP addresses would range from 192.168.1.1 to 192.168.1.254. But you will also have to change subnet masks on every other device, too, so it is probably easier to just change the base IP address of the router from 192.168.0.1 to 192.168.1.1 and keep the standard subnet mask.

Uhm, range for single octets of an IP addresses is 0 to 255. Computers use the dual system (base 2, thus 2^8 are 256 numbers from 0 to 255), not the decimal system (base 10). The Archer's behaviour is correct to throw an error on 192.168.1.300.

BTW: The "NAS IP 192.168.1.255" is not a valid IP for a single device. It's the broadcast address of the 192.168.1 subnet addressing any device in the network. Don't use that address as an IP.
