Ignore ping/Forbid ping doesn't appear to work on TL-WR802n V2

Ignore ping/Forbid ping doesn't appear to work on TL-WR802n V2

In the Advance Security setting panel, I have turned on DoS Protection and selected both [Ignore Ping Packet From WAN Port] and [Forbid Ping Packet From LAN Port] and rebooted the router. I also turned on Traffic Statistics as instructed in the manual.
However, when I test it...it isn't ping is not being ignored/forbidden. My system is still replying to Ping/ICMP Echo requests. What's going on? Am I not configuring the router correctly?
