Deco unable to use existing subnet

Deco unable to use existing subnet

I just purchased the M5 (5 units) but found an existing issue which i have not found a way around. I need to place the Deco's on same existing subnet so i can leverage my wifi enabled set top boxes. How would i accomplish this. The challenge now is nothing on deco side can see anything on the main router side. I am otherwise extremely happy with units and dont want to return them.
