No IP on Archer C7 setup as Wifi Access Points?
Model : Archer C7
Hardware Version : Archer C7 v2 00000000
Firmware Version : 3.15.2 Build 170525 Rel.37571n
ISP :
Current setup is
Modem: Arris Surfboard 6141
Router: Archer C7, DHCP on / NAT on
This router connects to three access points (LAN port to LAN port) across my house via cat 5e cabling.
* AP #1: Archer C7, DHCP off / NAT off. I am getting ~200mb down / ~10mb up when I plug in directly to LAN port * AP #2: Archer C7, DHCP off / NAT off. I am getting ~200mb down / ~10mb up when I plug in directly
* AP #3: Archer C7, DHCP off / NAT off. I am getting ~40-50mb down / ~6-8mb up when I plug in directly [Not sure why this one is so much slower]
The main issue is terrible wifi performance.
All three APs have the same SSID name but have wifi set to different channels. However for all three I am getting terrible wifi performance. If I can connect at all, the connection is slow (~10-20mb down). Often my macbook or iphone will fail to connect to the internet at all -- "No IP Address" or "No Internet Connection" errors -- over wifi.
When connected on wifi to the router, I get ~200mb down....the wifi there works fine.
Any idea what is causing this issue?
Any and all help appreciated!
