Model: Archer AX11000
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.3.0 Build 20220221 rel.50072(5553)

Hi, may be a stupid question, but can I use my AC5400 as an AP with my AX11000?  Im not looking to "mesh" (unless thats the new term for making a wired AP) them. Everyone is talking about "mesh" this and "mesh" that but I just want an AP.

Thank you!

@Jlang

Yes, you can configure the AC5400 as an AP and connect it to the AX11000 via LAN cable.

This is the guide you can refer to.

When talking about Mesh or Onemesh, you need to get both devices support that first. I guess the AC5400 doesn't support Onemesh.

You can refer to this story to understand better what is TP-Link Deco mesh and Onemesh.
