Archer C7 V2 weird issue with Server
Model :
Hardware Version :
Firmware Version :
ISP :
I am having a very strange issue with an Archer C7. It's is the edge router and wireless ap for a small 7 Computer network. They have a Windows 2012 server. Randomly, they cannot login to their server. After spending the better part of a day troubleshooting the server, out of frustration I rebooted first their gigabit switch, and then the router. After rebooting the router, everything started working. About once a week they call me and cannot access their server files or printer shares. A reboot of the C7 fixes it instantly every time. During this time of not being able to access the server, all websites work, email works (cloud hosted), I am able to ping the server and printers on the network, and all network traffic seems to be working fine. I have updated the C7 firmware hoping this would fix it but it has not. It has been in place for a little over a year and started this out of the blue a couple of months ago. Does anybody have ANY ideas?? I have been working on networks for over 20 years and have never seen anything like this.....
